Natalie Marsh -  Investment Sales Manager

I joined Shields in January 2011 after having graduated from Loughborough University with a Chemistry BSc(Hons) and Pharmaceutical Science and Medicinal Chemistry MSc. Despite focussing on the sciences throughout my education, I have always had a passion for sales; having grown up shadowing my father within his sales company, this inevitably directed me toward my future career. When I initially joined the company I worked as part of the lettings team, through which I have learnt fast and gained valuable experience which I can now carry over to the sales side.

Having grown up in Staffordshire, then attended university in Leicestershire, I am familiar with Nottingham and the surrounding areas. As an investor myself, I can relate to what investors are looking for, yet I also understand the student market and it’s requirements having been a student myself for 4 years. Although I am still at the beginning of my career, I have a lot of experience in sales, management, accounts, IT and customer service already behind me.

I am excited about what lies ahead and I hope that my attributes will be a valuable asset to the sales department.

Luisa Palagano -  Lettings Administrator

I joined Shields Student Homes in February 2012.

As the Lettings Administrator I work alongside the Lettings Manager in all aspects of our letting service including; arranging and conducting viewings with the students, liaising between the students and Landlords to negotiate rents and overseeing the signing of Tenancy Agreements.

I am the first point of contact for anyone either visiting or calling the office and I pride myself in providing a friendly and professional service.

I have extensive experience in customer service and as the newest member of the Shields Student Homes team I am looking forward to gaining further experience and knowledge of the residential lettings market.
